PAX Technology, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of point-of-sale terminal solutions, is pleased to announce that PAX France has gained approval from the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires (GIE-CB) for its standalone PLBS application (Paiement de Location de Biens et de Services, which caters specifically to professionals in the rental sector, including vehicles, bikes, equipment rentals, as well as hotel and event bookings).

The PLBS application with FRv6.2.1 specifications has been approved for PAX models:

  • A35 (PCI 6)
  • A50 (PCI 5 & PCI 6)
  • A77 (PCI 5 & PCI 6)
  • A80 (PCI 5 & PCI 6)
  • A80 + Q25 (PCI 5 & PCI 6)
  • A8500 + Q25 (PCI6)
  • A920 (PCI 5)
  • A920 PRO (PCI 5 & PCI 6)

PAX France offers the country's most comprehensive standalone FRv6 solution for Android terminals, featuring:

  • Full compliance across all schemes including CB, Visa, MC, UPI, JCB, Discover, and Amex.
  • Contact & contactless (ERT 10), manual entry (ERT 20), pre-authorization payments  (ERT 80), and unattended (ERT 46) payments.
  • Enhancements such as Annex animation (Sonic Brand) and accessibility features for the visually impaired (Bulletin 3).
