PAX Technology is excited to announce it's first SPoC solution has obtained the PCI approval for the iOS based SealGuard solution.l. It is the 7th solution in the world to be certified.
The PCI program "Software-based PIN Entry on COTS" (SPoC), also known in the market as PIN on Mobile, enables merchants to accept EMV-based transactions with the option of PIN entry on COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) devices as smartphones and tablets. Both contact and contactless card initiated transactions are supported in PCI SPoC transactions. PAX has selected Brightsight as the security lab to performing the software-based PCI SPoC security evaluation of the innovative payment solution by PAX.
